Hi everyone! My name is Cait Egan and I am a junior in the kinesiology program with a minor in music. I hope to eventually be a physical therapist with a focus in neurology. I’m from Oak Park, Illinois which is the first suburb outside of Chicago. I am a certified personal trainer currently working for campus recreation. Fitness is a huge part of my life and I love sharing it with others! You can catch me teaching stretch and strength on Mondays and balance on Wednesdays. In my free time I love to sing and am the president of an a cappella group on campus called ‘No Comment’. Excited for the semester and I hope to see you in classes!
Hello everybody! My name is Carson Smith (on the left) and I am a senior studying Interdisciplinary Health Sciences. I plan to get a Master’s degree in health technology and hope to work in technology development. My passion is assistive technology for older adults. I want to give older adults the ability to safely live in their own home longer. Especially as the population of older adults grows, technology will become imperative to healthy aging. I am a Vice President of Illini Pride Student Athletic Board. We facilitate and run the student sections for all university athletics.
Hi everyone! My name is Halle Wanless and I am a junior studying Kinesiology, planning on attending physical therapy school after graduating. This is my first semester with LFP and I am so excited to be apart of the program! I grew up playing many sports, so physical activity has always been something that is very important to me, and I love being apart of a program that emphasizes the importance of exercise. Some of my hobbies are walking and baking! I teach water aerobics on Mondays and stretch and aerobics on Thursdays. I am looking forward to a great semester!
